Of course, how your wall looks like how big the shape is, and the overall look of the room matters.

The living room is where most homeowners displays their art. Doing so would help improve conservation techniques.

A genuine model would be warm shaded dividers, for example, light orange, light pink, and yellow. These hues go well together with cool shaded artworks like blue, green, and so on. For the individuals who are attempting to accomplish a moderate structure, you should need to pick a straightforward one with clear geometrical shapes.

Care and display. Right before you hand and display your artworks, ensure that the frame is in good condition. There will be times wherein the wedges or supports being used to avoid the canvas from sagging or sinking has to be replaced. A good place to hang them are walls with studs, since this allows you to secure the hooks.

Canvas. Canvas means the fabric used as the surface. An oil painting is mostly painted on linen canvas or cotton fibers. The good thing about cotton fibers is that they are easy to stretch and affordable. However, these are just not flexible enough if used for large paintings. Linen fibers are durable and strong, and is even less prone to expansion or contraction.

Subject. There are a wide selection of themes available, abstract, cartoons, architecture, etc. Some paintings even have 3D effects. The subject you choose matters on your personal preference. You also need to decide between framed or no frame. What is good about no frame is that it has more DIY flexibility. However, if you do not want to spend your time to do extra work, framed is a good option.
